Mr. Graboys is a frequent speaker at industry forums and board retreats. He has presented at ACHE and HFMA conferences and numerous healthcare seminars on topics that include Strategic and Economic Planning, Operations Management, Cost Management Implementation, and The Analytics of Benchmarking. Mr. Graboys has been published in the Healthcare Financial Management Journal and is currently authoring the firm's series of industry white papers.
Prior to founding The Chartis Group, Mr. Graboys was a Senior Partner and Managing Director of the management consulting firm CSC Healthcare/APM. There, he managed the firm's central region and Chicago office and its Strategic Planning and Post Merger Integration practice.
Mr. Graboys' professional experience also includes structuring healthcare-trade programs between US healthcare companies and the U.S.S.R while at the international strategy consulting firm Telesis, Inc.; and serving two and a half years with the United States Peace Corps in Mauritania, West Africa establishing and maintaining feeding centers in famine regions.
Mr. Graboys holds a Masters in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelors of Science in Urban Policy from Northwestern University.

Mr. Arnold is a founding partner and Managing Director of The Chartis Group. He has worked over the past nineteen years with healthcare providers and payers to improve their overall operating performance. Mr. Arnold has spent the last several years working as an advisor to the executive teams of some of the most prominent academic medical centers to focus on improving their underlying economics through both strategic and operational improvements.
Over the past several years, Mr. Arnold has worked with a number of leading academic medical centers, faculty practice plans and schools of medicine to improve alignment and overall operating performance. He has worked extensively with physician and hospital leadership to define expectation and improve performance in a number of areas including strategic planning, funds flow, ambulatory access, faculty practice design and operations, perioperative services, and inpatient access and throughput.
Prior to founding The Chartis Group, Mr. Arnold was a Partner at APM/CSC Healthcare, where he was one of the firm's leaders in developing the tools and methodologies in several different areas including: turnarounds, process centered redesign, supply chain, and patient access and revenue cycle.
Mr. Arnold formerly worked as a consultant in Cooper & Lybrand's health care practice where he provided financial and strategic consulting services to large scale payers, integrated delivery systems and long-term care facilities. While at Coopers, Mr. Arnold also worked with health insurance companies to redesign their operations including utilization management and provider enrollment.
Mr. Arnold has presented at numerous conferences on the topic of process centered management, revenue cycle improvement and overall trends in provider organizations. He has also worked with boards of specific institutions facilitating planning retreats and workshops on key strategic and operational issues facing provider organizations.
Mr. Arnold holds a Masters Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Hospital Administration from Yale University School of Medicine. His master's thesis was entitled "The Effectiveness of Mandatory State Rate-Setting Programs". Mr. Arnold also holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Lafayette College.

R. Christopher Regan

Mr. Regan has extensive experience leading strategic planning, operations redesign and organizational development initiatives within integrated delivery health systems, academic medical centers and community teaching hospitals.
Prior to co-founding The Chartis Group, Mr. Regan served as President of H-Works, the consulting division of The Advisory Board Company. Mr. Regan also spent fourteen years at APM/CSC Healthcare where he played an integral role in building the firm from 30 to over 300 consultants. While at APM/CSC, Mr. Regan was one of twelve senior partners leading the firm's healthcare consulting practice. He also served as the National Director of the firm's Clinical Effectiveness practice.
He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, forums and Board Retreats. Mr. Regan currently serves as a Trustee of Hamilton College, Seacor Holdings, Inc., Lawrence Hospital Center and Ascension Health Ventures.
Mr. Regan's consulting experience is supplemented by six year's experience as an executive in the financial services and shipping industries.
He holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. in English Literature from Hamilton College.

Mr. Sauter has been an advisor to a broad range of healthcare leaders. Examples of his recent work include: defining a new strategic direction and improving operational performance for a major integrated delivery system, designing a comprehensive ambulatory care strategy, strategic planning for business development and future facilities, valuing various investment opportunities for several leading investment banking firms, advising a major insurance carrier on investing/purchasing a large multi-specialty medical clinic, and preparing a financial and operating turnaround plan for a 150-physician medical group. Mr. Sauter has also directed several important performance improvement, program development and service line strategy engagements, including engagements in cardiovascular, cancer, orthopedics and mental health service lines.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Sauter spent fourteen years at APM/CSC Healthcare. While at APM/CSC, Mr. Sauter ran the Western Region and grew the regional practice from 7 to over 60 professionals. Nationally, Mr. Sauter served some of the firm's largest clients and led the firm's Operation Re-engineering and Performance Improvement practice.
Mr. Sauter is also active in several community volunteer organizations and is a Trustee of a San Francisco Bay Area Independent School and a local food bank.
Mr. Sauter holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Levin is a Director with The Chartis Group. He has over 30 years of experience as a management consultant to the healthcare industry with specific expertise in strategic planning, organizational alignment, clinical program development, merger evaluation, and business development. His clients have included academic medical centers, medical schools, children's hospitals, health systems, managed care plans, federal and state health care programs, such as the National Institutes of Health and the NY State Medicaid program, and pharmaceutical companies. He is a nationally recognized expert in a number of areas pertaining to academic medicine including aligning the various organizations and constituencies that comprise academic medical centers by restructuring strategy, management roles, governance, funds flow, and cultures.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Levin was a Corporate Vice-President and Managing Director of the Global Health Solutions practice for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). He also helped to develop CSC's federal health care practice. CSC's Global Health Solutions practice was formed with the acquisition of APM Management Consultants, where he spent 18 years as a founding partner and Managing Director. While at APM, Mr. Levin helped the firm grow to over 300 consultants and led the development of the Market Evolution Model that was widely used to explain the changing health care financing and delivery system at the time.
Mr. Levin has published numerous articles in the healthcare management literature; recent articles he has authored or co-authored include: "The Impact of the Capital Markets Crisis on Hospitals and Health Systems", "Developing Integrated Clinical Programs: It's What Academic Health Centers Should Do Better Than Anyone. So Why Don't They?", "Involvement Abroad of U.S. Academic Health Centers and Major Teaching Hospitals: The Developing Landscape". He is also a Guest Lecturer at The Wharton School graduate business program in health care management.
He received a BA, magna cum laude, from Boston University and an MBA from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business. He has also completed course work for his MPH at Columbia University.

Mr. Schwartz is a Director with The Chartis Group. Over the past 16 years, Mr. Schwartz has worked with academic medical centers, children's hospitals, multi-hospital systems and community hospitals to address their most pressing strategic and operational challenges. He has led consulting engagements in the areas of strategic planning, economic alignment, funds flow, network development, and clinical and operational performance improvement.
Mr. Schwartz has directed numerous consulting engagements across the healthcare industry. Examples of his recent work include: developing several innovative clinical and economic affiliations between children's hospitals and their hospital partners that advance pediatric care delivery and provide shared economic incentives for both organizations, advancing enterprise strategies for several large academic medical centers and developing off-campus network of care strategies for several academic and children's medical centers.
Mr. Schwartz has also directed a number of industry-wide applied research studies including a nationwide study on the future of quaternary medicine, a world-wide study of malaria research and development, and a life-sciences study on the price and value of pharmaceutical innovation.
Mr. Schwartz has spoken nationwide at healthcare conferences and Board Retreats on several topics from the future of pediatric health care to practice plan design to funds flow to fetal medicine. His applied research studies have been presented by himself and others at international health conferences and to U.S. Congressional leaders, state policymakers, industry associations, and Fortune 100 employers.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Schwartz spent seven years as a practice leader with APM/CSC Healthcare in both clinical effectiveness and operational improvement. Mr. Schwartz's professional experience also includes leadership roles at both Cisco Systems and Cerner Corporation.
Mr. Schwartz holds a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics and Operations Research from Yale University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude.

Mr. Cook's recent work has included patient access and inpatient capacity management for large academic medical centers nationwide. His efforts in this area have resulted in effective bed management and patient flow redesign, improved coordination of care, and advancements in the overall patient care model for his clients.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Cook was a Principal with APM/CSC Healthcare. Mr. Cook also worked at CareSciences Inc, a healthcare technology company founded by faculty from The Wharton School.
Mr. Cook holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelors of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Damsky is a Principal with The Chartis Group. Her experience in the healthcare industry spans over twenty years, including eighteen years serving as a management consultant and six years serving as the COO of a start-up Complementary and Alternative Medicine Center. Ms. Damsky's consulting engagements have included clinical and operational performance improvement, system and organizational strategy development, clinical integration/accountable care planning, and detailed business planning. She is a frequent speaker at conferences on a variety of topics including operations improvement and accountable care organization development.
Ms. Damsky has assisted clients across the country in developing and executing a broad range of strategic and operational initiatives. She has led numerous performance improvement engagements encompassing all aspects of performance with a specific emphasis on throughput improvement in areas such as perioperative services. She has also led a variety of strategic planning engagements including the development of enterprise wide strategies, service line planning initiatives and due diligence reviews of specific strategic opportunities.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Damsky was the Chief Operating Officer of Hælth LLC, the first of its kind freestanding Complementary Medical Center. At Hælth, Ms. Damsky was responsible for all aspects of day to day operations, human resource support functions and financial functions. She also was a prime contributor to the company's marketing and strategic planning efforts.
Ms. Damsky holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Etchen was a Principal in the healthcare practice of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and a Partner with the management consulting firm APM/CSC Healthcare.
Prior to APM/CSC Healthcare, Ms Etchen was the Vice President for Strategic Planning with the Ochsner Medical Institutions in New Orleans, where she was instrumental in the development and launch of the Ochsner Health Plan as well as the development and start up of a geographically dispersed ambulatory care delivery system. Ms. Etchen also spent three years in urban and regional health and human services policy and planning for the City of New Orleans and the New Orleans Regional Health Systems Agency.
Ms. Etchen speaks at professional meetings on topics related to strategic positioning and growth for health care provider organizations including the AHA Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Forum for Healthcare Strategists and the Health Information Management Society. Ms. Etchen has recently been published in the Healthcare Financial Management (HFMA) Journal on the topic of "Designing the IDS Business Portfolio".
Ms. Etchen holds a Masters in Business Administration from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and Masters and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Florida.

Mr. Karpook is a Principal at The Chartis Group. He possesses over 20 years experience assisting leading hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers in a wide variety of strategic and operational engagements. Mr. Karpook has led engagements in the areas of economic and strategic planning, operational and clinical performance improvement, integrated delivery system strategy, post merger integration and financial turnaround planning.
Mr. Karpook's recent client work in strategic planning has included developing growth strategies, assessing strategic partnership options, and developing post-merger integration strategies. Mr. Maddrey is a Principal with The Chartis Group and the leader of the firm’s Organizational Alignment Practice. He brings more than 18 years of management consulting and healthcare executive experience to the firm. Through his consulting experience, Mr. Maddrey has advised some of the nation's preeminent academic medical centers, schools of medicine, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals. He has lead consulting engagements in the areas of enterprise strategic planning, service line planning, organizational alignment, economic alignment (funds flow), practice plan governance, and operations improvement. He also brings to the firm extensive payer experience, having managed several health plans.
Mr. Maddrey’s consulting experience includes several years as a Senior Engagement Manager at APM/CSC Healthcare. Mr. Maddrey also acted as Director of H*Works, the management consulting arm of The Advisory Board Company, where, as one of its first employees, he developed aspects of the H*Works’ consulting and business model and led a number of the firm’s initial Emergency Department engagements.
Mr. Maddrey also has significant experience working in the payer segment. He was President and General Manager of Aveta Health Illinois/North American Medical Management of Illinois, a start up Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan, serving seniors with chronic conditions, and physician group/PHO management services organization (MSO). He also served as Vice President at UnitedHealth Group, where he led a division within Uniprise Customer Care, providing support to over 20 million United HealthGroup members. Prior to United, Mr. Maddrey held several executive positions at Anthem/Wellpoint Health Networks including general manager of Government Programs and Vice President of Connecticut Plan Operations.
Mr. Maddrey received his Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University, his Master of Business Administration with honors from Georgetown University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Tulane University.

Ms. McCain possesses 15 years experience in consulting and hospital leadership roles. She has led engagements to assist clients in achieving a wide range of organizational objectives in the areas of operations planning and management, leadership development, organizational alignment, and strategic planning.
Ms. McCain's clients have included leading health systems and academic medical centers nationwide. Her recent work has focused on enterprise and regional health system strategy development, capacity management, patient access and throughput in the inpatient and ambulatory settings, perioperative performance improvement, and organizational alignment. She is a practice leader in the area of advancing operational performance in hospitals and health systems and has presented on this topic at HFMA, and has been published in The Integrated Healthcare Report on the topic of achieving benefits available to integrated delivery systems.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. McCain was a Senior Consultant at APM Management Consultants/CSC Healthcare where she worked on post-merger integration and operations redesign. Additionally, she advised senior leadership at a large regional health system where she established and managed an internal consulting and project management department with broad objectives including performance management and improvement, innovation to create the ideal patient experience, and senior leadership team development.
Ms. McCain earned her Masters in Public and Private Management, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Change Management, from the Yale School of Management. Ms. McCain earned her BAs in Psychology and German from Grinnell College.

Recent engagements include the assessment of the potential operational and financial impact of clinical portfolio and facility consolidation for a multi-hospital system. This engagement included developing new operating models, staffing levels and expense models for the consolidated programs, understanding the nature and magnitude of the growth opportunities and related net revenue impact and a high-level assessment of capital requirements of the proposed changes. Ms. Moratti also recently conducted a strategic opportunity assessment for an academic medical center seeking margin improvement through growth and expense reduction strategies. This assessment included identifying areas for aggressive clinical service line development and physician recruitment as well as a comprehensive benchmarking of hospital operations and targeted, accelerated operations improvement efforts. She also developed a business plan for a center for basic and clinical research and bio-informatics.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Moratti worked at APM/CSC Healthcare, where she provided strategic and operational consulting services to healthcare provider clients over a nine-year period and had profit/loss accountability for an operating unit providing services to healthcare organizations. Ms. Moratti also led service organizations at both Neoforma and TenFold, companies providing technology solutions to healthcare provider organizations.
Ms. Moratti has a B.A. in Philosophy from State University of New York at Binghamton and a M.P.A from Columbia University.

Mr. Kagen is a Consulting Director of The Chartis Group. He has over 30 years experience assisting health care providers in developing and achieving their strategic and financial goals. Through his experience, he has helped over 250 health care organizations reduce annual operating costs by over $3 billion while improving service to patients. He has also managed major engagements in post merger integration, turnarounds, competitive strategy, clinical reengineering and organizational development for leading hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers nationwide.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Kagen was a co-founder of APM Management Consultants, the largest American management consulting firm solely devoted to health care, and Vice President of Computer Sciences Corporation's Global Health Solutions Group, APM's successor organization. While at APM/CSC Healthcare, Mr. Kagen developed and led the firm's service offerings and products, including practices in performance improvement, supply chain development, and turnaround services.
Before founding APM, Mr. Kagen was First Deputy Commissioner of Health of New York City and Director of the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, New Jersey's social service and child welfare agency.
Mr. Kagen holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Mr. Lasson's work for the last several years has been with major hospital systems. These engagements have included reformulating fundamental strategies after failures as integrated healthcare delivery networks. All of these engagements have included major strategic, organizational and operational changes to move the systems back into profitability after sustaining substantial operating losses. These engagements have given him an opportunity to assist clients in aligning the interplay between the business, organizational and operating strategies as well as operations management.
Mr. Lasson began his professional consulting career at APM/CSC Healthcare. He steadily rose through the ranks and was elected Partner in the consulting practice. He was later appointed to be a Vice-President of CSC's new Global Healthcare Solutions Group. Mr. Lasson later left CSC to found The Metis Consulting Group, which assisted its clients in developing rigorous operations assessment and management processes.
Mr. Lasson earned an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University where he was awarded the Stoddard Prize for excelling in finance. Mr. Lasson also attended graduate school in Chemistry at Iowa State University where he was awarded the Noble and Pace fellowships. He earned a BS in Chemistry from Brigham Young University.

Ms. Bagnall is a Senior Consultant with The Chartis Group. She has 14 years of experience in healthcare consulting providing strategic and operational consulting services to integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals and affiliated medical staffs.
Ms. Bagnall's consulting experience includes organizational structure redesign for faculty practice plans, medical school strategic planning, clinical effectiveness and care management development, operational assessment and redesign, and ambulatory network strategic planning.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Bagnall was a Principal with APM/CSC Healthcare, where she provided healthcare consulting services to the payer and provider sectors of the healthcare industry.
Ms. Bagnall also has five years of experience with academic physician group practices. She was the associate director of billing and off-site services for a large university practice plan where she was responsible for managing all professional fee billing operations and assessing the profitability of managed care contracts.
Ms. Bagnall received her M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago. She also holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago in History.

Mr. D'Olio brings over 15 years of hospital operations experience to The Chartis Group. He served as an Administrative Director for Imaging Services for the nation's leading pediatric hospital, where he was responsible for all strategic and financial planning for the department and achieved double digit growth during his tenure.
He has also managed nationally recognized radiology practices, providing state-of-the-art imaging services in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. D'Olio has also played a leading role in developing successful ambulatory imaging networks for several hospital systems.
Mr. D'Olio was among the first Radiology Administrators nationally to achieve Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) status. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology from Thomas Jefferson College of Allied Health.

Cindy Lee
Senior Engagement Manager
Cindy Lee is a Senior Engagement Manager with The Chartis Group. She has assisted healthcare organizations over the last thirteen years as a management consultant in establishing and achieving their strategic and operational priorities. Ms. Lee has worked with many academic medical centers, pediatric hospitals, and large community hospitals.
Ms. Lee's recent work has included developing a joint strategic plan for academic medical centers that engaged the teaching hospital, school of medicine, and practice plan to develop a vision and pathway for growth, and to increase alignment among the member organizations. Her experience also includes assisting clients improve inpatient and outpatient access and throughput as well as revenue cycle operations, resulting in material improvements in economic and patient satisfaction performance.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Lee was a Director at a national healthcare consulting firm focused on revenue improvement and patient flow solutions. Prior to that, she was a consultant at the management consulting firm APM/CSC Healthcare. At both organizations she worked with her clients to achieve significant economic and operational improvements

Prior to Chartis, Ms. Kirtane worked as a healthcare management consultant for APM/CSC Healthcare, where she assisted leading academic medical centers rationalize their funds flow across missions and regain organizational profitability. She also assisted community hospitals successfully develop and implement post-merger integration plans.
Ms. Kirtane's professional experience includes working with Catholic Health Initiatives to develop and implement a financial performance measurement infrastructure for all member hospitals. Ms. Kirtane also worked at the Office of Management and Budget in Washington DC, within the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, reviewing healthcare-related rules and regulations.
Ms. Kirtane holds a Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Systems earned from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a recipient of the William L. Kissick MD Scholarship Award. She also holds a BA in Economics, earned with honors from Harvard College.

John Narcross
Senior Engagement Manager
Mr. Narcross is a Senior Engagement Manager with The Chartis Group. He possesses over twenty years of strategic planning, management consulting and public policy experience within the healthcare industry. He has assisted hospitals, health systems, managed care organizations and medical groups nationwide in the areas of strategy development, business planning, market expansion, and transaction management.
Prior to joining Chartis, Mr. Narcross served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning for OhioHealth, one of the largest faith-based not-for-profit health systems in America, where he was responsible for enterprise strategy, integrated strategic and financial planning, clinical service line planning, physician alignment strategy, and organizational measurement and alignment. Prior to OhioHealth, Mr. Narcross served as a Senior Consultant at Medimetrix Group where he focused on strategic business planning for healthcare providers and payers nationwide. Mr. Narcross' experience also includes serving as a senior financial policy analyst with the American Hospital Association, consulting experience with KPMG Peat Marwick, and applied research with Mathematica Policy Research.
Mr. Narcross is a speaker at industry conferences on the topics of physician group growth strategies and enterprise-wide strategic planning. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Kenyon College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Norris was a Principal with APM/CSC Healthcare in New York and Toronto, where she worked for several years in commensurate roles while rising from Analyst to Project Manager. Her experience also includes serving as Research Associate for the District Health Councils/Ministries Joint Task Force to the Minister of Health in Ontario, Canada where she prepared a comprehensive review on regionalized planning and funding mechanisms, Summary of Health Systems Planning Approaches in Other Jurisdictions, for the Joint Task Force. Ms. Norris also authored a research paper on international health care reforms for the Canadian Premier's Council on Health, Well-Being and Social Justice.
Ms. Norris holds a Masters of Arts degree in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University and Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from Trent University.

Ms. Pinter's professional experience includes consulting for Authoria Inc, a human resources/benefits information technology company; account management and product development for ChannelPoint Inc (purchased by TriZetto Health), a healthcare technology company; strategic planning and business development for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, and product marketing for Abbott Laboratories.
Ms. Pinter has her M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she concentrated her studies in Strategy, Marketing, Health Industry Management, and Organizational Behavior. She has her B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Marketing and Healthcare Management.

Ms. Shapiro is a Senior Consultant with The Chartis Group. She has nearly 15 years of experience in both healthcare consulting and industry roles. Her healthcare consulting experience includes assisting leading academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, medical schools and community hospitals in achieving their strategic and operational goals. Ms. Shapiro's work is concentrated in the areas of: strategic planning, mission based management, operations planning and management, faculty/physician practice management, service line development, and financial turnaround planning. Ms. Shapiro also currently manages The Chartis Group's marketing activities.
Ms. Shapiro also spent several years as a healthcare management consultant for APM/CSC Healthcare, where she was a founding member of the firm's Mission Based Management practice, which developed an enterprise-wide strategic and financial management approach used by academic medical centers nationwide.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Shapiro worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals on the Lipitor® brand team. Ms. Shapiro's professional experience also includes brand management, strategic planning, and marketing leadership roles at Ford Motor Company.
Ms. Shapiro holds a Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Management earned with honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology earned with distinction from The University of Michigan.

On a recent engagement, Mr. Stone managed several elements of a broad-based strategic planning effort over an 18 month period. This engagement included an enterprise strategic planning initiative and the development of strategies for several service lines. Mr. Stone supported the client organization as it launched a neurosciences institute, opened an ambulatory care pavilion and implemented an enterprise branding campaign.
Mr. Stone's other recent work has included strategic planning and operational redesign efforts including a long-term broad-based organizational redesign effort, a patient access and revenue cycle initiative that helped his client capture a $10 million revenue opportunity, and a clinical service line assessment and performance improvement initiative.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Stone spent nearly eight years with APM/CSC Healthcare where he led healthcare consulting engagements with leading providers and health plans nationwide.
Mr. Stone also spent six years working in the health insurance industry, first at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and later at Healthcare Compare Corporation where his work focused on provider contracting and network development.
Mr. Stone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University.

Prior to joining Chartis, Mr. Kiesau was with a leading healthcare revenue cycle consulting firm, where he served as an Engagement Manager and methodology Service Line Leader for the firm's Patient Access practice. Mr. Kiesau's health care industry experience also includes holding the position of Associate Vice President with Apollo Health Street, and prior to that the position of Vice President with Alta Resources.
Mr. Kiesau is a graduate with distinction from The University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems & Operations Management, and a graduate with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Strategy.

Peter Shorett is a Senior Consultant with The Chartis Group. He has worked with a wide range of healthcare clients, including leading children's hospitals, academic medical centers, and major health systems, in achieving their strategic and operational goals. Mr. Shorett's strategy and alignment experience spans the areas of enterprise strategy, hospital-to-hospital joint ventures and affiliations, service line planning, network development, and economic alignment. His advanced operations experience includes organization-wide margin improvement, inpatient access and throughput, and capacity management.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Shorett worked as a programs director for a non-profit bioethics research and policy organization focused on developments in the life sciences, where he led a series of research grants on genomic medicine funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Ford Foundation and California Healthcare Foundation.
Mr. Shorett holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School with a concentration in health care policy and a Bachelor of Arts, with highest distinction, from the University of California, at Berkeley.

Mr. Corapi is a Senior Consultant with The Chartis Group. His experience in healthcare spans over 20 years in executive management positions and consulting. Mr. Corapi has led strategic planning initiatives in the areas of growth strategies, ambulatory network development, business development, capital planning and joint ventures. His operations experience includes inpatient access and throughput, ancillary services management, operational resource allocation, and ambulatory operations efficiency.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Corapi was the Senior Vice-President of Operations at Suburban Hospital/ John Hopkins Medicine. In this role he had accountability for clinical ancillary, support, facility and IT services. He executed a comprehensive facility upgrade and led the planning and pre-implementation of a master facility expansion. As a healthcare organization leader, he improved operations through a balanced focus on service, staff engagement, financial performance and growth.
Previously Mr. Corapi was a consultant with APM/CSC Healthcare, where he worked with several leading academic medical centers and community hospitals in the areas of patient access and revenue cycle improvement. Mr. Corapi's client organizations included Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Mr. Corapi also served as Associate Executive Director of the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics in Salt Lake City with responsibility for administrative, ambulatory and clinical ancillary services. He began his health care management career with The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC where he served as the Assistant Administrator for Clinical Services.
Mr. Corapi earned a Master of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University and a BA in Public Administration & Policy from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Corapi has also held adjunct faculty positions with the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and with The George Washington University's School of Medicine & Health Sciences.

Tiffany Breau-Metivier is a Senior Consultant with The Chartis Group. Her experience in healthcare includes leading strategic planning and operations initiatives through roles in senior health system management and consulting. Ms. Metivier has led strategic planning initiatives in the areas of enterprise-wide strategy, service line planning and development, market growth strategy, and physician alignment. Her operations experience includes clinical care model redesign, productivity management, performance benchmarking, patient throughput optimization, and operations improvement redesign.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Metivier worked at a large regional health system where she directed strategy, planning, and analytics. She also created and led a cross-functional decision support team and managed an internal consulting division responsible for an array of performance management and improvement initiatives. In this role, she facilitated organization-wide efforts to create a distinctive clinical vision that consolidated and transformed healthcare delivery for the region. She also led efforts to introduce a service line development framework and supporting strategy and business development plans across multiple service lines including Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Women's Health.
Previously, Ms. Metivier was a Consultant with Bain & Company, where she assisted clients across multiple industries on initiatives involving corporate strategy, merger integration, operations improvement, due diligence and acquisitions, and market growth strategies. Her experience also includes Human Resources leadership positions at the footwear company Cole-Haan and Manpower Staffing Services
Ms. Metivier earned a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where she was named an Edward Tuck Scholar. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature from Harvard College.
